It is very difficult to see the black rhino, a shy animal that is also critically endangered. But we were in luck after our 3-hour descent into the Ngorongoro Crater. I drove for about 30 minutes longer, and then we saw a female black rhino with her baby, very near to our car as they started to cross the road. Sighting a black rhino is a very rare experience! When you travel with a seasoned safari guide like Bokari, you don't have to count on luck; I know the best conditions and locations for spotting black rhino and other wildlife of the Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti Plain.

The Rare Black Rhino!
It is very difficult to see the black rhino, a shy animal that is also critically endangered. But we were in luck after our 3-hour descent into the Ngorongoro Crater.
